SSF stands down
Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007Well done to DeVore and the gang at Boards.ie who organised another successful Santa Strike Force campaign in the run up to Christmas. I think that’s the third year in a row.
DeVore told me one time that SSF is based on “an idea from an American website called www.penny-arcade.com which decided that there were more nice then naughty people out there and perhaps they might be willing to buy a few presents for sick kids at Christmas”.
Barnardos in Cork, Crumlin Hospital, Dublin, Debra Ireland and Temple Street were among the beneficiaries this Christmas.
